Overview :
The 2 Days / 1 Night Khaliya Top Zero Point Trek from Munsiyari Base Campis a short
yet breathtaking high-altitude adventure in the Kumaon Himalayas. Starting from
Balanti Band, the trek ascends through dense oak and rhododendron forests to reach
the Khaliya Top campsite, offering stunning sunset views and a peaceful overnight
stay in tents. On the second day, trekkers hike to Zero Point at around 3,500 meters
to witness a magnificent 360° panorama of snow-capped peaks like Panchachuli,
Nanda Devi, and Rajrambha, before descending back to Munsiyari
Day-wise Itinerary
- Arrive at Munsiyari in the morning and start the trek to Khaliya Top Base
Camp (~5 km trek). - The trail begins from Balanti Band and passes through dense oak and
rhododendron forests. - Reach the base camp (around 3000m altitude), pitch tents, and enjoy the
sunset view. - Overnight stay in tents with dinner and bonfire (weather permitting).
- Early morning trek (~1.5 km) to Zero Point, the highest spot of the trek (around
3500m). - Witness the magnificent views of Panchachuli, Nanda Devi, Hardeol, and
Rajrambha Peaks. - Descend back to the base camp, have breakfast, and continue trekking back to
Munsiyari. - Tour ends upon return to Munsiyari by afternoon.
